The news these days usually doesn’t focus on the on-going conflict between the state of Israel, and the terrorist organization known as Hamas. Yet last year, Israel discovered and eliminated 130 terrorist cells. Halfway through 2015, they have stopped another 60. But attacks by individuals are harder to find before they happen.
How common is it? Well, in 2014, there were 1834 acts of terrorism, ranging from throwing rocks to fire bombs, and beyond. That comes out to more than five attacks every day. That’s in addition to the 130 organized groups stopped by Israel’s Shin Bet. The prophesied war between Israel and the forces of the great and abominable church may not be for several years yet, but Israel certainly isn’t at peace.
