I’ve been hard at work on Fruits of the Shadow, the second book of the Warriors & Watchmen series, and thrilling sequel to Conspiracy Rising. I’m in the middle of a rewrite on the book to incorporate a new character which I had to leave out of the first book for time constraints. Also, I’m adjusting the sequence of events and adding a few more scenes. What does all this mean? It means writing is rewriting. If you can’t handle rewriting the book after you get the first draft done, how can you improve as a writer?
Writing isn’t an easy profession, and an even harder hobby. But it is something I feel born to do. Conspiracy Rising is currently undergoing its second proof copy printing, because I could not handle giving you anything less than my best. It should be available in the next couple of weeks, and definitely in time for Amazing Arizona Comic Con, where I will be in the Artists’ Alley with copies for sale.
